Ilena received first prize at the WAD Clay Juried Annual at 3rd Street Galleries, 220 3rd Street in Carnegie, PA.

Shadows of Collected Memories is a solo exhibition featuring the installation and sculptural, ceramic work of artist, Ilena Finocchi. Chosen out of 130 applicants for this solo show, the exhibition will run from March 7th through April 6, 2008 at the Olin Art Gallery at Washington and Jefferson College, 25 minutes south of Pittsburgh. Gallery hours Monday thru Sunday from 12:00 to 7:00 pm. This exhibition will be on display during NCECA's National Conference which will be held in Pittsburgh, PA in 2008.

Represented by the Ferrin Gallery, Ilena's illuminated porcelain pieces will be exhibited at SOFA Chicago, November 1st - 4th, 2007 at Navy Pier.

Ilena was selected to appear in On a Pedestal and Off The Wall at The Sculpture Center, in Cleveland, OH, March 16th-April 14th.

Ilena's work appears in the March issue of Ceramics Monthly in the Upfront section highlighting the work at the NCECA National Show.

May 4-13, 2007 Ilena will be apart of the Small Favors II show at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia, PA.

March 14-June 23, 2007 "Equilibrium Interrupted" was selected to appear in the NCECA National Biennial Exhibition at the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft.

January 26-March 17, 2007 the piece "I Love Me, I Love Me Not: My Own Worst Enemy Series" will be appearing in the Agape Show at Santa Fe Clay in Santa Fe, NM.

One of Ilena's wall mounted flying crows is now part of the permanent collection of the Lewis and Clark Library in Helena, MT.
