Micro & Macro Worlds

The abstract art and animation is inspired by the micro worlds of pollinators and the macro worlds they impact. The artwork created by starting with paint and gestural mark making influenced by the worlds of pollinators. The paint is then digitized and composed. Once the composition and coloring is complete the animation of the artwork is created. All the animted parts are then edited together to create the 5 minute video.

Intention

Every project I create begins in research. Facts and images are assembled so that the work is charged with intention. Once the ground work is excavated I allow it to influence all the mark making that is created.
